The country's tourism sector is diverse offering many attractions for visitors drawn to its religious and archaeological sites, unique landscape and heritage, and the possibilities of swimming, scuba diving and wind surfing. The cities most popular with visitors are Amman, Petra and Aqaba. Most people enter Jordan on leisure trips, although business travellers are set to increase as the economy grows. As Jordan innovates its tourism potential to develop areas like wellness tourism, spiritual tourism, cultural and eco-tourism, new opportunities for investors are arising.
